Our First Hiking Trip

It's always great to get out of the city and explore nature. That's why we had our first hiking trip up to Breakneck Ridge on Sat, Oct 7th. Just a short, 90 min train out of Grand Central Station, it's definitely worth the trip. Be warned though, the hike isn't for the faint of heart, as the rock scrambles are quite a workout.

Once you get up to the top, the views are amazing, and definitely worth it. Be aware, if you're new to hiking, it might not be an ideal beginner course! We persevered nonetheless. We didn't make it the entire 6 mile loop, but instead, opted to break off into something a bit more easy going. At the end of the hike, we finished down in Cold Spring, New York for lunch at a place called Cold Spring Depot. We look forward to many more adventures.
